Privacy Policy
This policy covers this website only — scriptastrology.com. The Script mobile app has not launched; when it does, it will have its own policy covering the data it handles.

What we collect
Very little. We do not ask for your birth date, birth time or birth place anywhere on this website.
- Your email address — only if you type it into the early access form and submit it. Nothing else from that form is collected about you.
- Anonymous usage data — pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, and how you arrived. This is aggregate analytics, not a profile with your name on it.
- An anonymised recording of your visit — how you move through the page: mouse movement, taps, scrolling, and which parts you spend time on. We use it to find the places where the site is confusing. Anything you type into the email field is hidden before the recording leaves your browser, so we never see it, and the recording is not linked to your name or your email address.
Why we collect it
The email address is used for one purpose: to tell you when Script launches, and occasional notes about the build in the meantime. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else’s marketing. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.
The usage data tells us which parts of the site work and which don’t. That is all we use it for.
Who processes it
We use a small number of third-party services, and your data passes through them:
- Formspree — receives and stores the email address you submit through the early access form.
- Google Analytics 4 — collects the anonymous usage data described above. It runs only on the live production site, not in development.
- Microsoft Clarity — records the anonymised session replays and heatmaps described above. It also runs only on the live production site. Microsoft may use this data to improve its own products and services, as set out in its privacy statement.
- Our hosting provider — serves the site and keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses for a limited period.
Each of these handles data under its own privacy policy, and we’d encourage you to read them if this matters to you.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity each set their own, which is how they tell a repeat visit from a new one. If you would rather they didn’t, browser-level cookie blocking will stop both, and the site will work exactly the same without them.
Links out to other sites
When you click a link from this site to somewhere else — our Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn or YouTube — we add campaign parameters to the web address so we can tell that the visit came from here. These parameters identify this website as the source. They carry nothing about you personally.
Once you land on someone else’s site, their privacy policy applies and ours stops. We aren’t responsible for what they collect.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you ask us to remove it, or until it’s clear the early access list has served its purpose and is no longer in use. Analytics data is retained on Google’s default schedule for our property.
Your choices
Write to [email protected] and you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you;
- correct it if it’s wrong;
- delete it entirely;
- stop emailing you.
There is no account to log into and no form to fill in — an email is enough. We’ll act on it promptly, and depending on where you live you may have additional rights under your local data protection law.
Children
This site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us their email address, tell us and we will delete it.
Where your data goes
Our service providers operate internationally, so your information may be processed on servers outside India.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. If the change is significant and we have your email address, we will tell you directly.
